Simulation Two Phase Flow in Vacuum using Phase Field method

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I'm trying to simulate Two Phase Flow in Vacuum condition. By looking into the definition of Volume Fraction used in Phase Field method, Vf1 = (1-ф)/2 (fluid 1), Vf2 = (1+ф)/2 (fluid 2), e.g. ф=-1 represent fluid 1, ф=1 represent fluid 2. However, what is the value of ф to represent vacuum? (no air). Or is there a better method to simulate Two Phase Flow in Vacuum? Appreciate much if anyone can reply on this particular.
