Tips on reducing computing time

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am curious to pick some brains on some general techniques or whatever on reducing the time it takes to compute.

So my current model used to take about two minutes to run. Once I was satisfied with it and the results I added another piece of physics, the computing time is so high I have yet to finish a computation yet. I realize with laminar flow and particle tracking these are non-trivial calculations, but then adding in electrostatics just blows it up.

I have tried playing with the mesh, and the iteration maximums. Is there anything else I can try? Or is it just be patient?
