Hi ALL, I should simulate the electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical behavior of an electrical structure simultaneously. our team is looking for a software that can be able to model that as ANSYS can not do the electromagnetic, thermal and mechanical at the same time. I would greatly appreciate if you please let me know if COMSOL as a powerful software is able to simulate our goal?

Hello Maedeh, Yes, COMSOL can do that. A simple example is found in the "Introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics" manual: the busbar example starting on page 54. https://cdn.comsol.com/documentation/5.3.0.316/IntroductionToCOMSOLMultiphysics.pdf In that example, we have a DC current, but COMSOL can also handle an AC situation, see eg https://www.comsol.com/model/busbar-ac-analysis-28391 Best, Jeff
