Stress of energy pile not changing with time

Dear all, I am a civil engineering research student in China. I have been reading a paper, "Energy and geotechnical behaviour of energy piles for different design solutions". I try to follow the paper model to learn analysis of energy pile. I met one problem the stress of the pile is not changing with time. I can not find how to solve this problem.
