Progress window not showing up during Matlab Livelink (COMSOL 5.5)

Using the ModelUtil.showProgress(true) command is not showing the progress window when I'm running COMSOL models from Matlab through Livelink on my Windows 10 system. I'm interested to know if anyone else has been having this issue and if there is any fix for this.

I have the exact same problem. Also working with Comsol and Matlab Livelink on Windows 10. The support recommended to use these two lines of code before executing ModelUtil.showProgress(true):
import com.comsol.model.*
import com.comsol.model.util.*
Unfortunately, this does not solve the problem, at least not for me. Is there anyone having a solution for this issue?
