Unite models with each other

Is it possible to connect two or more models together? I would like to load several individual Battery pack models into another model to connect them with each other. I only know that geometries can be exported. Is it additionally possible to export the physics as well? The final model should remain variable and offer different possibilities of interconnection of the packs.
