Cannot evaluate expression

Hi,

I am new to COMSOL and I get the error "Undefined variable. - Variable: mf.LCoil_1 - Global scope Failed to evaluate expression. - Expression: mf.LCoil_1 "

I am using the example : https://www.comsol.com/model/self-inductance-and-mutual-inductance-of-a-single-conductor-and-a-helical-coil-12679 I found on the COMSOL website, it seems fine to assume that variable?

Thanks, Divya

Hello,

You can check variables using CTRL + SPACE shortcut when entering expression in global evaluation node.

If you are a new COMSOL user, I could suggest you to follow this course about coil modeling: https://www.comsol.com/support/learning-center/article/Modeling-Electromagnetic-Coils-8251/112

If you need further assistance, please contact COMSOL Technical Support here: https://www.comsol.com/support
