Presenter Guidelines for the COMSOL Conference 2025 Amsterdam
Poster Presenter Guidelines
- Prepare your poster in Microsoft® PowerPoint® using our poster template, which can be downloaded via the link below as well as on the Showcase Your Work page.
- Submit your poster in PPT or PPTX format via My Conference by the final deadline: September 19, 2025.
- COMSOL will be professionally printing all posters received by the deadline prior to the start of the conference.
- Poster submissions must:
- Use the provided poster template.
- Have a size of 36 in. (width) x 48 in. (height) and be in portrait orientation, with a 1-in. margin on all sides.
- Be on a white background.
- Use a standard font to ensure quality printing (e.g., Calibri), and use the following font sizes as a guideline to prepare your poster for best viewing:
- Title: 72 pt.
- Author name and affiliation: 40 pt.
- Figure captions: 36 pt.
- References: 28 pt.
- Rest of the text (introduction, results, etc.): 48 pt.
Poster Presentations at the Conference
- All posters will be on display in the exhibition hall throughout the conference.
- The poster session will be held the evening of Thursday, October 30.
- Please make yourself available near your poster during this time.
- Visit the registration table to find your poster number if you are unable to locate it.
- Attendees will have the opportunity to cast their votes for the Best Poster by Popular Choice award during this session.
- The posters will be taken down on Friday, October 31, after the closing remarks.
Slideshow Presenter Guidelines
Slideshow submissions are subject to review and a limited number of slideshows will be selected for the final conference program.
- Each presentation is limited to 10 minutes plus a 5-minute audience Q&A.
- Submit your presentation in PPT or PPTX format via My Conference by the final deadline: September 19, 2025.
- Plan to meet with the moderator in the room where you will be presenting at least 10 minutes prior to the start of your session.
- Your slideshow will have gone through a review prior to your presentation, please use the most current, edited version.
- Presentation submissions must:
- Have a slide size of 13.33 in. (width) x 7.5 in. (height); to achieve this sizing, select Widescreen.
Paper Submission Guidelines
- All presenters are encouraged to submit a paper for publishing in our online conference proceedings.
- Papers received by the final submission deadline, September 19, 2025, may be considered for the Best Paper awards.
