In the TM mode, the magnetic field is in the transverse direction and the electric field only in the direction of propagation, so COMSOL solves only for the in-plane components of the high-frequency electric field.
in the waveguide,TE10 is The main mode，the TM mode in the rectangular waveguide is the higher mode, which is based on the theory of the electromagnetic field.when the transmission of energy should be a single mode transmission，using the main mode，why the casa updated,added TM mode？
