Wavelength range in comsol 3.5

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Dear Users,
I am new to comsol. I am using an old version of comsol i.e. 3.5.0.494. I am having a problem in the wavelength range. When i run the simulation for a single wavelength, i got the result. Then i tried it for a number of wavelengths, i received an error. The expression which i wrote for the wavelength rage is
range(400e-9,4e-8,600e-9)

and the error i got is
Expression could not be evaluated.
- Property name: Parameter values
- Expression: range(400e-9,4e-8,600e-9)

For those who used this version, please guide me how to correct it.

Thanks,
Best Regards,
Jack

Sorry I responded to the wrong posting. I actually have no idea about your issue.

Hi

check if in your "old" 3.5 its not "à la matlab" start:step:end instead of range(), I believe range() came only in 3.5a, but its all a bit old by now ;)

Good luck
