Custom Materials with Interpolated Properties

Hi,

I'd like to establish a custom library for commonly used materials. My problem is that for the problems that I'm interested in the materials properties vary with model parameters (e.g. the refractive index changes with wavelength). I can use an interpolation function to generate a lookup table for the refractive index, but I cannot save that interpolation as part of the material. The result is that every time I want to use a material I have to reload the interpolation for the property from a file, rename it, make sure the units are correct and then link it to the material. I would like the interpolation to be saved with the material. Is there a way to do this, or at least streamline this process?

check yor doc, you can define your own material in your own material library, and include per material one or several interpolation functions for any material data. Take a closer look at the different material data some of them are T and p dependent and copy the principle ...
