Mesh Process error - Shock absorber

Hi everyone,
I'm facing a problem with my geometry in the mesh process. I have 4 solid objects for my shock absorber and they touch each other at certain points, when I try to create the mesh an error occurs: "Intersecting edge elements.". I researched about this problem a little bit and found that it occurs due to the mesh process and there exists some techniques to eliminate this kind of problem, but i don't know how to do it.
Could anyone help me?

Hello Mustafa,
The geometry seems to originate from a CAD package. As such, I would avoid using the stl format to pass it to COMSOL if you can. If your license includes the CAD Import Module, or the Design Module, or any one of the various LiveLink for CAD products, you will be able to import geometries in a variety of more appropriate formats, such as Parasolid , step, or the native formats of many CAD software. See the CAD Specification Chart for a list of those formats. Stl is useful for organic shapes, where its flexibility is an asset, but for traditional CAD geometries these other formats are preferable.
