copy variable to a Dirichlet BC with same geometry

Dear COMSOL support team,

In the tutorial model of the HT transfer package called heat_exchanger_iso.mph, I would like to connect both pipes in a U-bend, but I prefer not to solve N-S.
I would like to keep the same geometry of the tutorial but with a much larger length of the pipes (extrusion). Then I would like to have the temperture calculated "outlet" condition of one pipe as the tthe inlet of the other. The velocity field (quadratic) continues to be the original. Is it possible ?

You can do what you want (copy temperature from boundary A to bond. B) just with a "Boundary Similarity", which you can choose in "Definitions" node. You should create that model coupling, then assign bond. A as "source bond." and bond. B as "destination bond.". In "Advance" perhaps "Opposite orientation". Assume you take the default tag, "bndsim1". When you assign the boundary conditions, for bond. B you should choose "Temperature", and write "bndsim1(T)". This copies the value of T in the source bond. (A) to the destination bond. (B).

Alternatively, a "Linear Extrussion" between both bondaries would also work.
