How to simulate a vibrating object?

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I need to simulate the vibration in a sample caused by a transducer which is vibrating and transfering the vibration to the sample. I do not konw how to simulate the transducer (a vibrating object). How to set the boundary condition of the transducer, where to set the vibrating frequency and amplitude, and which solver should be used?
I will very appreciate if someone can give me some suggestion.
