Conditional Statement with Temperature and time variables

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello all,

I have this problem that I need to solve. it is probably simple and I would appreciate your help.
I have a domain that heats up according to a heat source function.

I defined a value for the thermal conductivity of a domain by a function of position "Kform" .

now I want this function to vary with temperature according to another function that I have defined as well "Ktemp" that causes the thermal conductivity to decrease with increase in temperature

When the time passes and the temperature increases the thermal conductivity follows the function "Ktemp". So far so good.

What I need now is that when I turn down the heat source I do not want my thermal conductivity to increase again due to the temperature decrease (the system is not reversible), but I want it to be the last minimum value that was reached during the rump up.

how can I set this statement?

thanks,

Valerio
