Introduction to the Fuel Cell & Electrolyzer Module

The Fuel Cell & Electrolyzer Module is an add-on product to the COMSOL Multiphysics® software that can be used for designing and optimizing the electrochemical cells of fuel cell and electrolyzer systems.

This is a previously held webinar that briefly covers the basics of the Fuel Cell & Electrolyzer Module. You can download the files for the Fuel Cell Cathode with Liquid Water tutorial model, which is used as an example for much of the webinar.

The webinar is a great reference for users at all experience levels and is particularly well suited for those who are new to either modeling fuel cells & electrolyzers or to modeling with COMSOL Multiphysics®. The content is applicable to recent versions of the software, though you may notice some small differences depending on which version of the software you are using. There are also some great new functions, which were added in COMSOL Multiphysics® version 6.0 after this webinar was recorded.
