COMSOL is seeking an Email Marketing Lead to join its Marketing team onsite in Burlington, MA.
Job Description
The Email Marketing Lead will own all email marketing functions, from strategy and automation to deployment and performance optimization. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing a scalable, intelligent email engine that drives engagement, nurtures leads, and contributes directly to pipeline and revenue growth. This will require collaboration with the Content, Creative, Marketing Intelligence, Communications, and Sales teams to execute email campaigns and contribute to COMSOL’s overall marketing strategy. This role requires a mix of creative and technical skills to develop engaging content and manage effective email initiatives.
Salary Range: $75,000-85,000
Responsibilities
- Build and execute an intelligent, data-backed email marketing program that transforms audience engagement into measurable business results, targeting both top-funnel and bottom-funnel segments
- Design automation, optimize performance, and creating efficient systems that deliver the right message to the right person at the right time
- Build custom workflows, automated sequences, and segmentation logic
- Create A/B tests to optimize subject lines, content, and CTAs
- Collaborate with team members to align email strategy with broader marketing objectives
- Track campaign metrics and provide performance insights
- Build and maintain automation, lead routing, and lifecycle management across the funnel
- Leverage behavioral and intent data to deliver personalized customer journeys and dynamic content
- Be the last line of defense for maintaining brand consistency and deliverability standards across all campaigns
- Track and report on core KPIs including deliverability, open rates, CTR, conversions, and attributed revenue
- Partner with Content, Creative, Communications, and Sales to ensure cohesive messaging across channels
- Support the sales team with nurture flows, lead scoring, and automated enablement campaigns
- Contribute CRM and email insights to broader marketing strategy discussions
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of hands-on experience in HubSpot email marketing and marketing operations for a B2B company
- Experience optimizing email campaigns for engagement, conducting A/B testing, and maintaining an email marketing calendar, including email marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with personalization, segmentation, and behavioral triggers
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, segmentation, and attribution
- Proven track record building automated workflows and lifecycle campaigns that convert
- Ability to analyze and draw insight from data sets to identify trends and recommendations for improving performance of email campaigns
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design and coding
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Strong project management skills, strong commitment to meeting reasonable deadlines, and strong skillset in proactively managing project risks
- Team player who can adapt workflows to accommodate other teams (Content, Creative, Marketing Intelligence, etc.) within reason
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Current eligibility to work in the U.S. is required. No sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position. F-1 visa holders not accepted.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Prior experience in the computer-aided engineering (CAE) or B2B SaaS industries
