Calculate loss for dielectric waveguide

Hi,

My model have 4 layers which is substrate, lower cladding, core and upper cladding. I use wave optic module with beam envelope (3D) in order to find propagation loss when I change lower cladding thickness. How I can get the value of propagation loss?
