Continuous domain boundary conditions - Symmetry 3D

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Good afternoon,

I am developing a laminar flow 3D model of a stent inside a cylinder. Scales are very different and the geometry is rather complex, so I took advantage of symmetries and developed one eighth of the entire model (see figure attached here: i.imgsafe.org/bb93b06b92.png).

When it comes to set boundary conditions, however, I am having troubles: what condition could I impose on the lateral sides of my wedge, so to ensure domain and flow field continuity and reconstruct the entire model in the results section? Neither wall nor symmetry nor boundary stress work, as I would like to have a continuity along the entire circular cross section.

Thank you very much in advance.
