How to plot the imaginary part of the solution

Hi all,

I am solving the heat transfer equation with complex number in it. I think by default COMSOL plotted the real part of the solution, but how to plot the imaginary part? Anyone has this experience? Thanks!

BTW: I am using 3.5a.

Hi

often you must turn on the "complex values" tick box (have forgotten where its hiding in the solver settings I believe) then you need to plot the real() and the imag() parts separately. You have also the "phasor" approach, depending on your variable, see the doc, use the cmplex and phasor as search indexer
