Electric Potential Simulation and validation do not match

Hi @ all,
i made a simulation of an electric potential in a chamber with a liquid.
Material properties:

liquid:
sigma: 0.114 S/m
epsilon_r: 1.08E+08 (not relevant for electrical potential)

chamber (isolator)
sigma: 10E-12 S/m
epsilon_r: 4

electrodes (Titan)
sigma: 561797.753 S/m
epsilon_r: 1+0.0000033

Physics:

Electric Currents (ec)
with 2 Electric potentials (Ground 0V and the oter 1V)

Study:

Frequency Domain with 20Hz

And the results of the simulation do not match the measured values.
But if i change the electrical conductivity (liquid) to a very very high value of 6000 S/m it match.
What can that be or where is my mistake.

Thanks a lot

Thomas

I also test the current through one electrode. With the right conductivity it is nearly like the experiment (11 mA) and with the wrong conductivity of 6000 S/m its way to high (about 55 A).

Hello again,

Is there a way to check the conductivity of a liquid by using a simple methods/tools?

thank you and best regards
