Transient Analysis using Acoustic Module for fluid-structure interaction

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I've run time-harmonic analysis for fluid-structure interaction case by applying boundary conditions such that both boundary conditions can communicate each other since it's a feedback system between fluid and the structure.

Now using the same comsol model, I wan to run transient analysis by applying the initial condition to the model. I am not so sure about what to do with the boundary conditions.

If you keep the same boundary condition you used for time-harmonic analysis, you get an error message. If you get rid of those boundary conditions, your model run but nothing seems to be happening.

Can anyone explain this? Thanks in advance!
