computation slows down

I am using the particle tracing module for fluid flow. Every thing is working properly except the time when the particle attraction happens, suddenly the computation slows down and take at least half a day to be completed, although the computation time is set to 60 seconds for example. where do you think the problem is coming from?

I appreciate if you could help me with that.
