Coil temperature dropping when should be rising

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am running a 2D axisymmetric model of a layer wound coil (using the coil group feature) to predict the coil's temperature rise. I am getting non-physical results possibly due to the time step size, ie: I need smaller time steps to properly solve the thermal part of the problem. I only need these smaller time steps in a few discrete sections of the solution. The coil runs for a 30s current pulse and I need to have smaller time steps from t=5s-6s and from t=12s-13s. Is there a way to specify specific time steps for specific times in the solver - maybe by using a logical expression when defining the minimum and maximum timpe steps?

Thanks
