Is there any reference for Electromagnetic Waves, Time Explicit (ewte) interface?

Electromagnetic Waves, Time Explicit (ewte) interface is a very interesting solver using DGTD method. However, there is few resource we could find for this solver. No application examples, few documentation. Would you please help to share some reference of such solver to me?
Most needed is the how to add excitation, how to load PML and how to extract S-parameters.

Much appreciated.
