Particle tracing: particles don't move

Hi,
I am starting to explore particle tracing on a 2D turbulent transient model. It consists of a simple cylinder. I defined the particle tracing parameters, but I am having two problems: 1) the particles stay the same even if I change their size. 2) they don't move. The starting point is right at the entrance of the cylinder but during the animation (with the player), they just stay stuck.
I tried particle tracing on the sample model "Cylinder Flow" and it did work.
Any ideas? What am I missing?
Thank you very much,
Sylvana
