how to give frictional effect at surface crack faces??

Hi,


I am doing thermal structure interaction in comsol v 4.1 for plate.Plate have a surface crack.I want to give frictional effect at crack faces so that temperature rise happen.But,i am not able to do that one.I tried with contact pair but contact will act like BC.and i have to do transient analysis.
If any one have a exp pls tell me.
