Numerical study of heat exchanger

To do a numerical study on heat exchanger as my college project i am modelling a heat exchanger first, using COMSOL multiphysics. Could anyone please suggest me the specifications of the heat exchanger that should be taken so that numerical study becomes a little bit easier?

There are many types of heat exchangers that can be modeled with COMSOL Multiphysics. For a few starting points, see https://www.comsol.com/models?q=heat%20exchanger .
