Hi,
I'm new to COMSOL and have some problems with the meshing of my model in COMSOL 4.0. It is a simple cuboid wich is built out of 2 units. The smaller model is placed on top of the bigger. Now I want a user defined mesh for both together. I started building a mesh made of rectangles on the top surface using the "mapped" option. I used two distribution moduls to define the number of elements for each axis of the face. Till here I think I figured all out on my own. Now I want to extrude the mapped surface along the z axis. Up to a special value the distance between the layers of the mesh should be constant from. This value should be the starting point for the rest of the mesh. In this part of the mesh the distance between the layers should rise exponential.
The problem is I don't know how to extrude the mesh the way I want to because I can't find the option extrude mesh, which existed in COMSOL 3.5a. Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Lars
