Hello, I have several questions about electric fields conversion from frequency domain to time domain. Could you please help me?
- Is a harmonic-wave source in COMSOL proportional to exp(iωt), not exp(-iωt)?
- The reason why I need to figure this out is that I need to compare E-field between COMSOL and my own coding, in which a harmonic-wave source is proportional to exp(-iωt). And in principle, in frequency field, the imaginary part of electric field(a1 + jb1) of harmonic-wave sources proportional to exp(iωt) is different from that (a2 + jb2) of sources proportional to exp(-iωt), and the relationship between a1, b1 and a2, b2 should be a1 = a2, b1 = -b2. Am I right for this relationship?
Best regards, He, Wanji
