Please help me and tell me:
1- what is different between metabolic heat source(Qmet) with spatial heat source(Qlaser)?
2- What is "r" and "z" in spatial heat source equation(Qlaser)?

I am wait for your help.

Thank you

Hi,

I think the metabolic heat is the heat that is absorbed from the laser by the tumor according to the given equation.
r and z are the radial and the axial coordinates in the cylindrical coordinate system.

Cheers
Edgar
