Multimatrix properties for Darcy and Richards

Hello,
I have a 2D cross-section of a subsurface with several layers of different rock-types consisting of differing matrix properties. Is it possible to run a model with these layers having different properties? I am able to add more than one material however when I am in Darcy (fluid and matrix properties) and Richards (equation model) I am only able to select one matrix type.
I hope there is a solution for this!
