how to remove boundary groups?

I am using an old simulation to gain experience in comsol. The comsol version is 3.5a. I want to assign the boundary conditions, but some boundary groups had already been defined. I want to remove those groups and set the boundary conditions individually or create new groups and delete the old ones. When I click on the name of any old group, the delete button at the boundary settings window is not enabled.
Does anybody know how to delete these boundary groups? Why is the delete option not enabled?
