Extrusion Coupling Variable

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello,

I am trying to model an electromagnetic problem in COMSOL multiphysics and I have got a problem with using "extrusion coupling variable ". I have a 3D structure consisting of two concentric spheres. I need to solve a PDE on the boundary of the outer sphere and then couple the calculated variable on the boundary to the subdomain between the spheres. The coupling is needed to be done such that all the points on the radius line get the same value. I am using weak form boundary PDE mode to solve the PDE on the boundary but I can not couple the calculated variable to the subdomain. The source and destination transformations that I am using are:

x: arctan(x/y)

y: arctan(sqrt(x^2+y^2)/z)

when I use these transformation an error occures which says "no source point were found for ......"

Could you please help with this problem?
