Hi Folks, I'm new to all this.. I made a 3D coil using one of the prefabricated examples, and added an air box around it. When I try to compute, I get the error "No external material selected." I'm not sure where to begin to debug this...there doesn't seem to be an "external material" category anywhere.

Hello Brian Wilmer,

  1. In Material section, please check if you have selected proper domain.
  2. Also, please check the document for Magnetic field physics for initial bounday conditions.
