How to give thermal Insulation boundry layer if a domain is inside to the another domain

hi,
I need your help as I am using the 3.5a :( but I am having the problem with insulation boundry.Because when a boundry is inside to another boundry ,There are only three options temprature , continuity and heat flux.I wanted to put insulation boundry.So how can I do that? Please guide me.

Hi

in "union mode you have continuity and cannot easily add isolation on internal boundaries. One way is to add a domain (thick "layer") and give it a low heat conductivity. Another way is to use "assembly mode" and just not include the layer in the continuity for the heat equation, but you must add all hte continuations for the other internal boundaries.
To minimise the effort, try to group as many domains as possible and make an union before leaving the geoemtry section (in assembly mode) then COMSOL will consider continuity on all internal boundaries in the domains groupes into these specific "unions" I hope I'm clear, I do not have 3.5 so I cannot give any examples
