How to plot potential along semi-circular arc

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am simulating a model with a charge at potential 5000V at the centre of a circle of radius 5m in 2D axis-symmetric mode. I would like to plot a line graph of how the electric potential varies along an arc of radius 2m inside this circle. How can I do so?

I'm a new user to COMSOL and would appreciate any help.

Assuming you already have the rest of the model setup with appropriate boundary conditions to compute the potential everywhere, and that it works fine, then: 1. Go back to the Geometry section. Draw the arc. I am presuming you mean the arc to be in the r-z plane. (Right?) 2. Re-mesh and re-execute the problem. 3. Under Results, create a 1D plot group. Add a line graph to it. Choose the arc as the selection for the line graph. 4. Plot your answer. I've attached an example which should be similar enough.
