Hi,
I read in the reference manual that underlying discretization method of COMSOL is Galerkin method. Galerkin method is a weighted residual method and it does not require weak form. However, it looks like COMSOL converts the equations to weak form. So, what is the underlying discretization method in COMSOL?
I am not familiar with discontinuous Galerkin method. By any chance, is this the method used by COMSOL?
Thanks,
Sirisha
