I'm trying figure out some optical properties of a dielectric structure, and I'm having problems using the scattering boundary condition. The model is in 2D, and for now I'm using the s-polarization. The scattering boundary condition includes an option to define the "Wave direction", or the k_dir variable. The default settings are 'emw.nx' and 'emw.ny'. What are these variables 'nx' and 'ny', where are they defined and can I access them somehow?
Thanks for help.
