Export magnetic field with coordinates from file. What is happening exactly?

Hello, I am exporting a calculated magnetic Field B from Comsol. For this I am using point coordinates from another software via 'Points to evaluate in: "from file"'. I would like to know, how COMSOL is interpolating the values of the B field for the given coordinates from the imported file.
