Porous/fluid velocity in Local Thermal Nonequilibrium

Hi all,
I am trying to simulate heat transfer in a porous medium using the Local Thermal Nonequilibrium module. It is not clear from the manual if the velocity field (in the Fluid node of Heat Transfer in Fluids) refers to the porous (superficial) velocity or to the fluid (real velocity). In other words, it is not clear if the input velocity (when it is user-defined) corresponds to the velocity in Eq. 4.43 or in Eq. 4.44.
It turns out (from the simulation results) that this velocity corresponds to the porous velocity. However, looking into the Equation View of Local Thermal Nonequilibrium and Fluid node of Heat Transfer in Fluids, I cannot find any relative equation that assigns the user-defined velocity to the porous (and not to the fluid) velocity.
Any explanation or further information is welcome.
Thanks, Nikos
