Hello! I am trying to simulate the beam vibration which can be described by a van der Pol-Duffing equation (with nonlinear damping effects and nonlinear stiffness term ):
Can I directly add theese two through the body load subnode in the solid mechanical physics? Or is is possible to add it more accurately and efficiently?
I also see a blog(https://www.comsol.com/blogs/analyzing-forced-duffing-oscillations-in-metal-halide-lamps/)simulate the jump phenomenon through a Stationary-time dependent simulation, I would like to ask should I do a parametric sweep for a time dependent study and put the values of dependent variables-->the intial values of variables solved for -->solution of the last time?
Many thanks if anyone have any comments or suggestions. Xuecui
