Using waveform function as flow velocity

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi everyone,

I am trying to define a cyclic (tidal) flow as my velocity for a turbulent flow model. I have created a waveform function, but when I define the average velocity at the inlet and as initial condition as wv1(t[1/s]), I get the error message that t is an undefined variable. My question is how I can make this work; do I need to define a variable for time (and if so, how?), or is my use of the wavefunction simply incorrect?

Thanks in advance.

With kind regards, Hinne

My guess is that you have not set up your model as time-dependent. When you do, t is time.
