Interfacial velocity vs time plot with 2D Capillary filling

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi all,

I'm working on a capillary filling through a microchannel using a model similar to the one presented here. I am particularly interested in plotting graphs similar to those in Fig. 3, 5 and 7, but I'm not sure how.

So far, I've experimented with 1D plot groups and plotting averaged/integrated/maximum and minimum values, but these graphs are not quite what I wanted, which is:

1 - a variation of the volume fraction of fluid 1 in the entire model over time 2 - the interfacial velocity in terms of distance (how far into the microchannel the fluid 1 has travelled) 3 - The filling time

I've only just started with COMSOL modelling, so links to any helpful sources will be highly appreciated!

Thanks
