Dear Forum Users, We are working on electrostatic precipitation phenomenon under dielectric barrier discharges. + The electrostatics solution is performed on a 2D domain. + For fluid flow and particle tracking modules, a 3D domain is generated. + Fluid flow data is transferred into particle tracking module using an interpolation function. + Electrostatics data is transferred into the same module via 'values of variables not solved for' option in transient solver. + Electrostatics data is employed in an auxiliary dependent variable to define particle charging. My problem is that; since PT module, as well as the fluid flow module uses a 3D domain, I need to use a non-local coupling (2D Extrusion) inside aux dependent variable definition to assume parameters from a 2D domain. Only when I do, I get this message: - Feature: Time-Dependent Solver 1 (sol8/t1) Shape info not found. - Geometry: 3 - Frame: spatial - Boundary: 1
Is it not possible to use non-local coupling in aux dependent var definition? Any help is greatly appreciated. Best regards, Ekin.
