Error (Residual) jumping after continuation of a solution with COMSOL CFD module

Hello,
Just wanted to ask why the error jumps after continuing a computation with COMSOL CFD (I have clicked the continue button and not the hard stop).
The Macro dimensions are broadly similar to the last iteration but the residual is comparable as when I started the simulation! Does that mean that I need to store the residual needs to be stored as well for the solution to be restarted properly.
