Hi Florian,
There are at least two possibilities:
- you somehow did not permit heat transfer between the two physics
- heat transfer is happening but at a slow rate and you are not running the simulation long enough for it to be noticeable
In any case, instead of performing a full-fledged CFD simulation in the pipe, I would recommend you consider the approach illustrated by this tutorial if your license includes the optional Pipe Flow Module. That approach solves much quicker and uses much less memory. You can check whether your license includes the Pipe Flow Module by going to File > Licensed and Used Products.
Best,
Jeff

Hello Jeff,
Thank you for you answer.
My simulation lasted 1 hour, tomorrow I will try for longer to see what happens.
Unfortunately, I already wanted to try out the Pipe Flow module, but my school's licence does not offer it.
