How to find an expression for the gradient of pressure?

Hello,

I was wondering how to find the expression of the gradient of pressure. So \nabla^2 * p in the acoustics domain. Would it just simply be d(laginterp(2,p),x) + d(laginterp(2,p),y) in 2D? Or is there another way?
