Continuous microwave oven with a conveyor belt system

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Good afternoon,

I simulated a continuous microwave oven with a conveyor belt system in COMSOL version 4.1. For this propose, I used the moving mesh algorithm. I tried to do the same in 4.3a version and the obtained temperature distribution for different object positions along the time is different from the obtained by the 4.1 version. In version 4.3a the final temperature distribution profile seems not depending the previous heating times (heating history), and the temperature distribution for each instance depends only the present position and despises the previous positions (as an instantaneous temperature for a chosen point). In 4.1 version, the temperature distribution encompasses all the thermal history of the sample, i.e., from the initial position of the heating process.

I would like to ask you if you could help me.

Best Regards,

Diana Fidalgo
