Thick Cylinder under pressure

Plz tell me how can i model a thick cylinder under pressure as attached in the file.

I made a 2D model, defined material, chose "solid mechanics".
Applied a "boundary load" at inner circle boundaryand other at outer circle boundary.

I got the error "failed to find a solution" The relative error (...) is greater than the relative tolerance............

Hi Brahmarishi,

If you model the full cylinder in a static (stationary) analysis you will have a singular system with rigid body modes. That could be the problem. In that case you should model a quarter cylinder instead and apply symmetry conditions on the 2 new boundaries.
